How does it work?
You will need to check with your Accountant or Adviser to see which software platform they use to administer your fund and they will be able to provide you with the ESA to update against your fund with the ATO.
Why do you need an ESA?
If an SMSF receives contributions from external employers, other than related party employers, it must have an ESA facility to receive SuperStream data electronically.
Our ESA also manages rollover requests and release authorities.
What happens once I have an ESA?
You will need to pass on to the details of your ESA to your employer to ensure you receive contributions and/or rollovers and release authorities.
Once obtained you also need to notify the ATO.
