SuperConcepts is pleased to announce Grant Christensen as the new interim CEO, effective 18 December 2020. Mr Christensen was previously Chief Information Officer at SuperConcepts.
"Grant is an exceptional internal candidate with a detailed knowledge of the business and the services we provide having fulfilled several executive roles within the SuperConcepts Group since 2006," SuperConcepts Chair Stuart Forsyth said.
“This gives us stability and continuity into 2021 which will see the culmination of four years of transformation that will deliver better administration services and software solutions to our clients."
Mr Christensen has a 15-year history working across the SMSF industry including two years running the SuperConcepts YourSMSF administration business and experience across sales, marketing, products, customer service as well as risk and compliance. He also has long relationships with the individual businesses that have been recently acquired by SuperConcepts.
"We are now completing that journey of combining all of the businesses that we have acquired," Mr Christensen said.
"Our next phase is about having the ability to focus on what we do well, by providing high-quality administration to our clients and having the expertise to keep them safe."
Mr Forsyth thanked outgoing CEO Lara Bourguignon who will be seeking new opportunities in a consultant role.
"Lara has achieved great things in her time as CEO, including rolling out significant improvements to the SuperMate platform, the internal workflow system, managing the COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to a flexible workforce and elevating the SuperConcepts Net Promoter Score (NPS) by 41.5 per cent in just over 12 months," Mr Forsyth said.
Outgoing CEO Lara Bourguignon welcomed the decision "I think it is really wonderful to have someone with Grant's experience at the helm. It will provide continuity and certainty to our people and clients into the new year," she said.
