SuperConcepts welcomes new CFO

Oct 1, 2019, 12:07 PM

After three years with SuperConcepts, CFO Mark Bailey has resigned to begin an exciting new change in direction for his life and career.

Mr Bailey has been a finance professional for 35 years and decided now is the time for a ‘tree-change’ out of Sydney.

“With the kids all grown up, we’ve decided to sell our Sydney home and have a tree-change in lifestyle,” said Mr Bailey.

“Although I’ll be out of Sydney I still have a lot to offer and will look to change my career focus once we’ve settled and done some travel,” he said.

SuperConcepts CEO Lara Bourguignon thanked Mark for his service as he transitions his responsibilities to the new CFO.

“Mark is well known and loved here at SuperConcepts and while we’re all sorry to see him go we are excited for his tree-change,” said Ms Bourguignon.

“We all thank Mark for his service and tireless dedication and for the smooth transition he will provide until December.”

Mr Bailey’s final day at SuperConcepts is December 11.

Ms Bourguignon announced that Gordon Fraser would be CFO effective October 1. Mr Fraser joined SuperConcepts in August as Executive Manager Finance from NAB.

“I’m delighted to announce Gordon Fraser as the new CFO at SuperConcepts having been nabbed from NAB,” said Ms Bourguignon.

“Gordon brings deep financial experience to ensure continuity and stability during the 12-week transition period with Mark.

Mr Fraser said he looked forward to taking the CFO reigns and helping drive the business forward.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to have a finance leadership role in a company as great as SuperConcepts where we help shape the very nature of our sector,” he said.
