Chairman - independent
Richard brings decades of experience from his previous role as partner at accounting firm KPMG. Serving on KPMG’s National Board and National Executive Committee, as well as a non-executive director for a number of public, private and not for profit companies, Richard is passionate about providing strategic advice to the financial services sector.
In 2007, Richard was appointed a member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his service to the community and leadership role in a number of charities. Since 2014, he has held office as Tribunal of the Statutory and Other Officers Remuneration Tribunal (SOORT).

Stuart has extensive SMSF experience from his previous role as Assistant Deputy Commissioner Superannuation and, more recently, the non-executive director of SuperIQ Pty Ltd. Stuart is a director of a Brisbane based superannuation and consulting business. With his unique background across the industry, he brings a broad skill set spanning large organisational experience, current consulting knowledge and high level technical skills to the board.

Amanda is Board Director, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief of Startups of IBM Australia and New Zealand. With over 20 years’ experience working as a senior executive in Fortune 500 companies in the US and Asia Pacific, she brings extensive strategic marketing, business transformation and innovation experience to the board. As a co-founder and Founding Co-CEO of a New York based social media and big data startup, Amanda is passionate about using early stage technology to bring about significant transformational change, a growth mindset and disruption to traditional business models.
Gordon has extensive financial services industry experience in senior finance and leadership roles. He has been CFO at AMP Limited since 2014, and his broader experience includes 13 years at the National Australia Bank Group with roles including Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer; CEO of The Reach Foundation; and CFO of the Grocon Construction Group in Australia. His experience includes customer facing and group support roles domestically and overseas.
Alex is CEO of AMP's newly formed Australian Wealth Management business. In this role, Alex has end-to-end responsibility for customer offers and outcomes, including the provision of compliant, quality advice, delivered efficiently through a range of channels. Prior to this, he was Head of Developed and Emerging Asia for Credit Suisse Private Banking with responsibility for all aspects of the domestic Private Banking businesses for Australia, Japan and India.

Chief Technology Officer
Brad heads up the technology division of SuperConcepts, leading a dedicated team of product experts, designers, developers and analysts in managing and innovating the SuperMate platform. Brad has held previous senior roles with TechnologyOne, Australia largest enterprise software company, as well as Supercorp, the original manufacturer of SuperMate.
Chief Information Officer
Grant leads our information technology teams with responsibility for strategy, design, implementation and management of SuperConcepts' IT environment, including our customer focused hosting operations, corporate IT and IT security. Additionally, Grant has responsibility for the projects function. With over two decades’ experience in IT roles and the last 13 years within the financial services sector, Grant has broad experience in a mix of large corporate, government and overseas organisations.
Chief Operating Officer
James is responsible for communications, finance, marketing, product, procurement, risk, sales and strategy, drawing on over 15 years’ experience in financial services and superannuation. James has held a variety of senior leadership roles and has a strong track record of innovation and driving business results.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark is responsible for leading the finance function to deliver future focussed insights, improve productivity, and drive accelerated growth in services to the SMSF market. He has been leading change in businesses in financial services for nearly 20 years. His industry experience ranges from retail banking, institutional banking and structured finance to equities broking and SMSF administration. He also has deep experience in leading teams and proactively managing operational and regulatory risk.
General Manager, Offshore Operations
Michael has a strong accounting and legal background with over 20 years' experience in the SMSF industry. He established and ran the business MORE Superannuation for 15 years prior to merging it with SuperConcepts in January 2018. He brings a depth of knowledge to the role and a strong track record for delivering large scale offshore resourcing solutions. He is currently the general manager of the offshore team and oversees the provision of wholesale services.
General Manager, Technical Services & Education
Peter and his team are responsible for the delivery of education and technical support services to our customers and staff. A highly regarded expert on SMSF government policy, regulation and technical issues, Peter also acts as our SMSF media spokesperson. Before joining SuperConcepts, Peter was National Technical Director for the SMSF Association, previously known as SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia (SPAA).
General Manager, Customer Service
A strong and dynamic team leader, Stuart is responsible for our customer service function, as well as process improvement and IT support. He brings a depth of knowledge to the role and a strong track record for delivering large change programs and operational management — most recently holding senior leadership roles at Perpetual. His broad skill base spans financial services, technology, operations and program management.
General Manager, People & Culture
Sherry has worked in the Human Resources sector in various different industries for over 25 years. Sherry is currently responsible for managing the people strategy and overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function. Outside of work Sherry also sits on the Board for the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter and is passionate about achieving equality for women in all areas of life.
Executive Manager, Communications and Content
Garth is responsible for all corporate and public affairs and helps translate SuperConcepts strategic business goals into effective internal and external communications messages. A communications professional with 20+ years experience working in national and metro daily newspapers, magazines and websites at Australia's largest publishers, Garth has also worked in the NSW Parliament as a Ministerial media adviser. Outside of work, Garth is director of Urban Kombat, teaching civilian Krav Maga.
