Stuart Forsyth
Chairman - independent

Amanda Johnston-PellStuart has extensive SMSF experience from his previous role as Assistant Deputy Commissioner Superannuation and, more recently, the non-executive director of SuperIQ Pty Ltd. Stuart is a director of a Brisbane based superannuation and consulting business. With his unique background across the industry, he brings a broad skill set spanning large organisational experience, current consulting knowledge and high level technical skills to the board.

Lara BourguignonLara is responsible for the management of SuperConcepts. She is also responsible for ensuring that the Board has been provided with expert advice and that decisions made are implemented across SuperConcepts. An accomplished leader with over two decades’ experience running end-to-end businesses designed around customer experience for NAB, MLC, and Merrill Lynch, including directing corporate superannuation funds, leading high-performance sales and finance teams, and driving substantial transformation programs that most benefit customers.

Lara BourguignonLara is responsible for the management of SuperConcepts. Gordon Fraser
Chief Financial Officer

Gordon_FraserGordon is responsible for leading the finance function to deliver future focused insights, improve productivity, and drive accelerated growth in services to the SMSF market. He has more than 15 years’ experience in critically evaluating performance and developing insights and strategies to help drive the business in the areas of Superannuation, Insurance, Investments, Banking, Change Leadership and Business Transformation in Australia’s largest banking institutions.

Brad Ackermann
Chief Technology Officer

Brad_AckermannBrad heads up the technology division of SuperConcepts, leading a dedicated team of product experts, designers, developers and analysts in managing and innovating the SuperMate platform. Brad has held previous senior roles with TechnologyOne, Australia largest enterprise software company, as well as Supercorp, the original manufacturer of SuperMate.

Grant Christensen
Chief Information Officer

Grant ChristensenGrant leads our information technology teams with responsibility for strategy, design, implementation and management of SuperConcepts' IT environment, including our customer focused hosting operations, corporate IT and IT security. Additionally, Grant has responsibility for the projects function. With over two decades’ experience in IT roles and the last 13 years within the financial services sector, Grant has broad experience in a mix of large corporate, government and overseas organisations.

Michael Pease
General Manager, Operations & Service

Michael-PeaseMichael has a strong accounting and legal background with over 20 years' experience in the SMSF industry. He established and ran the business MORE Superannuation for 15 years prior to merging it with SuperConcepts in January 2018. He brings a depth of knowledge to the role and a strong track record for delivering large scale offshore resourcing solutions. He is currently the general manager of operations & service.

Annette Sheppard
General Manager, Growth

AnnetteAnnette’s primary role is to ensure that clients receive the best possible service from our specialised services suite. Annette has worked exclusively within the Self-Managed Super Fund industry for more than 13 years after previously holding various positions with Accounting and boutique Administration firms that serviced both SMSF’s and Corporate and Industry Super Funds and formed the foundations where she developed her skills and passion for Superannuation.

Sherry Midgley
General Manager, People & Culture

SherrySherry has worked in the Human Resources sector in various different industries for over 25 years. Sherry is currently responsible for managing the people strategy and overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function. Outside of work Sherry also sits on the board for the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter and is passionate about achieving equality for women in all areas of life.
