Natasha Fenech resigns as SuperConcepts CEO

Nov 30, 2018, 14:51 PM

After five years and having grown the SuperConcepts business to more than 10% market share, CEO Natasha Fenech has taken another opportunity as a CEO within the Financial Services industry outside the SMSF sector.

Ms Fenech informed the Board of her intentions and will remain as CEO as a suitable replacement is recruited. Her last day with the Group will be the 24 May 2019, unless a successor is available prior to that date.

“On behalf of the SuperConcepts Board I’d like to thank Natasha for her outstanding vision and leadership,” said Richard Grellman, SuperConcepts Chairman.

“Natasha’s results speak volumes about the five-year strategic plan she enacted, which included the transformation of the Company to a significant player in the SMSF industry moving from 1% market share, to become a market leader servicing over 10% of SMSFs.

“She has been a leading voice in the industry on regulatory issues with strong campaigns that worked to ensure favourable outcomes for the SMSF trustee and professional.

“Natasha has also been recognised by a range of industry award panels for her leadership and innovation, which further validate the critical role she has played in the SMSF sector.

“She leaves us with a proud legacy and in solid shape for the next growth phase,” said Mr Grellman.

Ms Fenech paid tribute to the SuperConcepts staff and leadership team.

“It has been my great privilege to work with an exceptionally dedicated and skilled group of people who have all contributed to the success of SuperConcepts as we grew from a start-up to dominating the SMSF space.   These are not accomplishments that a CEO makes alone. These achievements require a committed team of talented and dedicated individuals who come together to work relentlessly towards a common goal.

“We did this by sticking to the vision of being champions for SMSF trustees and professionals and offering customers exceptional administration and software service.

“The five-year plan we started is almost complete and SuperConcepts is ready for fresh leadership to take it through the next phase. Thanks to my dedicated staff and leadership team for their diligence in serving our customers, and seeing out our vision for a thriving SMSF sector that provides people with the choice to own their retirement,” said Ms Fenech.
